Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Status: Exempt

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 (DOE)

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Manager oversees planning, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, and distribution to support manufacturing operations and meet customer delivery requirements. This role leads a team of planners, buyers, and a programming lead while driving continuous improvement, cost control, and supply chain performance in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 7 employees (2 Production Planners, 4 Buyers, and a Programmer Lead).
  • Oversee material planning, purchasing, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
  • Drive SIOP, master scheduling, and capacity planning processes.
  • Improve key performance indicators including on-time delivery, inventory levels, and material costs.
  • Optimize inventory to balance customer delivery requirements with inventory carrying costs.
  • Manage supplier relationships, contracts, negotiations, and procurement activities, including capital expenditures.
  • Lead continuous improvement and lean initiatives focused on material flow, waste reduction, and efficiency.
  • Partner with customer service to address delivery performance and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Ensure accurate inventory control through cycle counts, physical inventories, and write-offs as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and HSE standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business (minimum requirement).
  • 5+ years of supply chain, logistics, or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior people leadership experience required.
  • Manufacturing industry experience required; aerospace experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with fittings manufacturing is a strong plus.
  • ERP experience required; ERP M3 experience is a significant plus.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • ITAR compliance (U.S. Person) required.
